The St George’s Police Children Trust is delighted to welcome the Isle of Man Constabulary to the Trust, thanks to support from the Isle of Man Police Federation.
The St George's Police Children Trust currently supports the children of Police Officers who have either lost their life or suffered an injury or illness that means they can no longer work. In the last year, support has been given to more than 300 children and young people helping them to have the same chances in life that we would want for our own families.
Donating Officers from the Isle of Man are now eligible for support by helping to ease the financial pressures of bringing up children in the face of life-changing circumstances. While no amount of money can replace a parent, support from the Trust can provide a degree of financial certainty in difficult times.
Cathryn Bradley, Isle of Man Federation said “The Isle of Man Police Federation are pleased to now be able to offer their members the ability to join the St George’s Police Children Trust. We sincerely hope that no member, or their family, ever needs to make an application for a grant. However, knowing there is financial support for families should the worst happen to a loved one, can bring some reassurance in times of distress or crisis.”
A small outlay now of just 35pence a week could provide peace of mind in the knowledge that you are safeguarding your family’s future. For any IOM Officer wishing to sign up, please contact your Federation to start making the donations today.
